The disaster in Kerala has shown the world how compassionate and caring people can be. Four-year-olds to teenagers and the physically disabled are doing whatever they can to help out each other in the state. “ We felt it was really the smallest thing we could do for the people who are suffering,” At least 50,000 houses and nearly about 14.50 lakh people belonging to 3.91 lakh families  are either fully or partially damaged by the floods and landslides witnessed across the state. More than 10,000km roads so many villages have been collapsed. Airports and Railways are also submerged. Water is almost 7 feet high and thus we could not reach there. So we moved to areas with 5-5 and half feet water so that the people could be moved there. This is the current operation we are working on |There is hundreds of death and thousands of missing. Almost all the infra of the Kerla is destroyed which is costing about 8-9 thousand crores. The most affected areas are Idukki, Ernakulam, Cotayaam, Mallapuram, Palakkad, Kojikode, Waynad . Airlifting being done because so many villages are isolated. Boats could not reach the villages, air operations are thus still on. People not being lifted because they are safe, water level is not coming up but there is a shortage of food and medicines.
